MSP Rona Mackay has written to GG&C health board chief regarding the temporary closure of the Sandyford clinic in Kirkintilloch.
It is current understanding that the clinic will resume service but no time-line has been given as to when this will occur.
Ms Mackay says:
"This is a vital service for so many people within the Kirkintilloch and extended East Dunbartonshire community.
"I have written to Jane Grant and will update my constituents when I receive a response.
"Sexual health clinics are an integral part of our health care system and I feel my constituents deserve clarity on when they should expect this service to resume locally."
