Successful winter advice surgery in Lennoxtown

CONSTITUENTS were left well-informed after a winter advice surgery and coffee morning.

Rona Mackay MSP, Stuart McDonald MP and Councillor David Ritchie hosted the event in Lennoxtown on Saturday, October 29 in Campsie Memorial Hall.

Home Energy Scotland and Kirkintilloch Men’s Shed were on hand to offer up advice and expert guidance on how to prepare for winter.

Ms Mackay said: “I’d like to thank all of the residents who turned up to the winter advice surgery and coffee morning — I hope they found it useful.

“Having Home Energy Scotland and Men’s Shed along was very much appreciated, and I’d like to thank them for offering up their services.

“It’s really important to be prepared for winter. I want everyone in Strathkelvin and Bearsden to understand what help is available for them, and for their family and friends.”
