THE EXPANSION of a family-owned coffee house to Milton of Campsie has been welcomed by MSP Rona Mackay.

Popular deli Billington’s in Lenzie is opening its new café on Saturday, February 11 in the village.

Strathkelvin and Bearsden’s MSP congratulated owners Mark and Sue Billington, and business partner Carey Gray on the new venture.

She said: “It is fantastic to see independent small business flourishing in the communities of Strathkelvin.

“I very much welcome the new establishment set up by this dedicated family business and the job boost it provides to the local economy.

“In the Scottish Parliament, I have acknowledged the excellent work of Billington’s via a parliamentary motion to my MSP colleagues, their offices and the government.”
