Rona Mackay MSP has welcomed the launch of funding opportunities for local charities and community groups by the Postcode Lottery.
Applications are open from 6th February until 20th February, to apply for grants of between £500 and £20,000. There are three different trusts, which have a different focus for funding:
People’s Postcode Trust - supports projects which focus on the prevention of poverty, promotion of human rights and combatting discrimination.
Postcode Community Trust – supports projects focussed on improving health and well-being through grassroots sports, reducing isolation, arts and physical recreation.
Postcode Local Trust – supports projects that support green space improvements, increasing access to outdoor spaces, renewable energy and flood prevention.
